Jordan & Lindsay, Wedding at The Paseo

January 2, 2019

Oh. My. Goodness. Talk about ending 2018 on a high note! The last wedding of my year at one of my favorite venues, with some seriously incredible people! The loving, kind and joyful Jordan and Lindsay held their wedding at The Paseo out in the east valley, surrounded by the Superstition Mountains, Desert Landscape, and all of their closest family and friends.

Everything was perfect, with a little coordination help from Tie the Knot by Tessa. Their day started with a relaxing morning of mimosas and pizza while getting pampered with hair and make-up. A little limo ride to The Paseo, and we were ready to get the festivities underway! A sweet first look accompanied by personal vows (and a few tears) led way to some fun bridal party and family portraits. Their sweet and simple ceremony overlooking the Superstition Mountains followed (with just the right amount of laughter), where just the right amount of clouds rolled in to give us the perfect light!

Guests were then treated to cocktails and appetizers, while the Diego the Wedding Burro passed out beer on the patio, which was beautiful adorned with furniture by Prim Rentals. Jordan, Lindsay, the Videographer and I then hung out in the desert for a while, taking photos, and letting the newlyweds enjoy some time alone.

Just as the sun went down, everyone took their seats in the Pavilion, which looks incredible thanks to some decorating by Lace and a Barn, and the florist J Barry Designs. A delicious dinner was served by AZ Inspirations Catering with plenty of drinks, mingling, and a few thoughtful, joyful, and tearful toasts thrown in. Before dancing could begin, one of the most amazing things ever happened (No, seriously, this is amazing…). A little background: Lindsay loves the show “Friends”. I love the show “Friends”. Who doesn’t love the show “Friends”? Well, the original songwriter who wrote the theme song stepped up to the mic with Jordan and THEY SANG THE THEME SONG to Lindsay. How ridiculously cool is that!?

Finally, once everyone stopped crying and freaking out, dancing officially got underway, thanks to Downtown Brown Productions! The delicious cake by Sue Jacobs Cake was cut, and then it was time to dance the night away.

A perfect day I was thrilled to be a part of! Here’s my take:
