I have packaged collections combining some of my most popular goodies, but I also offer a la carte pricing so you can create your own package and get exactly what you need and nothing more (but the more you get, the less you pay). My main camera is the professional Canon 5D Mark IV. I also have various professional lenses to get varying depths and distances, a couple flashes, a back-up camera or 2, memory cards, and a cute frog to make grumpy kids (or grumpy adults) smile!
Being slightly vertically challenged, I also bring a step stool to get varying angles and to ensure I'm always taller than you during the portraits!

Honestly, I rarely find the need to bring big stands with flashes and extra lighting. A good rule of thumb is if you can see it, my camera can see it. While I do have on-camera flashes, I try to use them sparingly. During a wedding reception I'll often use that flash to create awesome light swirl effects and add to the light of the room, but other than that, I find natural light fits my style and allows us to better remember how wonderful the day really was.

I am proud to say that all of the photos on my website and in my portfolio are from REAL weddings and sessions I've been lucky enough to be a part of, with REAL people who are REALLY in love! While a styled shoot might be fun, I find real weddings give me better experience, and showcasing photos from actual events will truly represent who I am as a photographer!

After your session, I load your photos into the cloud for safe keeping, then start the editing process. I delete a few (duplicates, eyes shut, etc), but end up with about 100 images per hour of shooting. Then, I edit every photo to ensure you and your photos look their best and unique! Your photos are never watermarked and are always delivered in high resolution form along with a copyright release approximately 2-4 weeks later, on a personalized flash drive or password protected online gallery.

Absolutely! You'll be receiving the high resolution files with a copyright release, which allows you to print and share to your heart's content. Make prints up to poster size, albums, cards, you name it! If you do choose to print on your own, I recommend staying away from one-hour developers. I'm happy to give recommendations for the best public printers that will adequately print your important photos.

While there are a few circumstances that require a 2nd photographer (and one can be added to your package if we decide it's necessary), most weddings and photo sessions don't require one. I've done over 400 weddings by myself, and feel confident in capturing all those important moments and angles, while being un-obtrusive.

Yes! In fact, the photos you want can have a large impact on the timing of your day. Have a large family? You might think about doing a first look to accommodate those photos. Smaller family with no bridal party? We should be able to fit everything in during the cocktail hour. Or maybe you don't need getting ready photos. Once I learn more about you, your family, and the photos that are important to you, we will come up with a timeline for your day!

Umm...yes!
I really do love to travel, and do so often for weddings (usually just a few hours away, but still)! I'm based in Charleston, SC but travel often to Phoenix, AZ and the Twin Cities of MN. Some of my favorite wedding destinations are Savannah, Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, Sedona, Tucson, and Rocky Point, Mexico. Travel fees may apply, but let me know where you're thinking and we'll figure out what's fair.

Wonderful! I can't wait to make your day memorable! To save your date, a contract and $500 deposit is required. The remainder will be due one week before the wedding. Payment plans are available upon request.
For all other sessions, payment is due in full at the time of the session (no deposit or agreement required).
