Ryan and Courtney are married! And what a perfect day they had to celebrate. Courtney’s parents’ house near the base of Camelback Mountain served as the intimate, beautiful, and laid-back venue for the day. After everyone got ready there, Ryan, Courtney and I headed to the Camelback Inn for some photos, where we took advantage of their desert landscape. It was a lovely time for Courtney and Ryan to relax and enjoy each other’s company before the (fun!) chaos of the day began. Then it was back to the house for their pre-ceremony cocktail hour! This is a rare thing, but it should definitely be done more often. It was great to have time to mingle with friends and family from far away before the ceremony started without feeling rushed! Cocktails and yard games are always fun, too. Then, just as the sun was setting behind the mountains, Ryan and Courtney were married in a personal and simple ceremony. Food trucks and dancing followed under the stars, complete with a live band, hula hoops, and candy! A wonderful day for a wonderful couple. A glimpse:
