My beloved great-grandma K has been gone for a while now, but the photos from her attic just recently found their way into my hands. I’ve always felt a connection to her, so I was thrilled to see these photos. They tell a story. A story about being a farmer’s daughter in the middle of North Dakota. A story of love and about what life was like for her long before I knew her. Her wedding photos (c. 1930) were especially touching to me, seeing as how wedding photos are my life. They show my incredible Grandma K as a young woman in love, with so much life in front of her. I treasure these photos and I hope future generations will look at the photos of my clients with such affection.
