I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I absolutely LOVE Sedona. Clearly, everyone else does too, given the amount of traffic in that town on a Saturday during peak season (the 15 degrees cooler-than-Phoenix thing is starting to catch on). But Ed and Laura found a way to escape the madness and had a beautiful wedding day up on top of the hill, near the airport, at Sky Ranch Lodge. An adorable little place with cabins overlooking the red rocks, a little wine bar, and one of the most spectacular places to hold a ceremony. Theirs was simple, sweet, personal, and filled with laughter and tears. And I mean, just look at that view! Also, one of my favorite trails is right near there as well, and being the great sports they are, I made Ed and Laura climb up the mountain for some great shots. Finally, a delicious, laid-back dinner with their nearest family and friends was held at the Mesa Grill just down the road. Finally, dancing commenced under the stars, marking a perfect end to their perfect day! A peek:
