Luke and Camellia (and many of the guests) came a long way to get married in the beautiful landscape of Arizona this weekend! They chose Camelback Mountain as the backdrop of their day, and it couldn’t have been more perfect (okay, 10 degrees cooler would have been nice, but no one seemed to mind). Their traditional Persian ceremony took place at the Sofreh Camellia’s dad put together at the base of Camelback Mountain. It was probably the sweetest (literally and figuratively), most personal and meaningful ceremony I have every witnessed. I admit, I cried along with everyone else, which is rare anymore as I’ve been to so many weddings. From the perfect poems, to the wonderfully worded vows, to the interaction with their guests, and everything in between, this ceremony was perfect. Their guests were then transported back to El Chorro, where they were treated to cocktails and live Persian music. Just as the sun was going down, Luke and Camellia danced their first dance, and dinner was served. A stunning day and one I’ll be sure to remember. My take:
