I knew when I took Will and Sarah’s engagement photos last year that their wedding would be special (I know, all weddings are special…but this one would be especially special)! I was right. First of all, they chose to get married on February 29, which is just cool in itself. Secondly, they chose one of my favorite venues: The Lakehouse at the Windmill Winery in Florence. Finally, Will and Sarah are absolutely incredible people, separately and together. Sarah had a smile on her face the entire day, and Will looked at her with the most loving eyes all day long (sometimes with tears in those eyes). Sarah arranged her own flowers, which were stunning! Their first look was one of the best ever, and the ceremony was personal, sweet, and unique. They hammered shut a time capsule that included a bottle of wine and notes to each other to open in 20 years (so really, on their 5th anniversary, technically speaking?). The sunset offered a romantic time to take a few photos while guests had some cocktails, which lead to a delicious dinner prepared by Kiss the Chef catering (who always displays their food so beautifully). Toasts were simple but meaningful, and then it was time to party! Joel the DJ of Ellagant Entertainment (the best in the valley that I’ve seen, by the way) sure knows how to get the guests partying, with fun games and interactions, great music, and lots of energy! I couldn’t be happier for these two and am so honored I was a part of their day. A peek:
